i joke that my labor was so long it covered two doula “shifts”! while that might sound unlucky, I actually feel incredibly fortunate that I got to experience the magic of both Alex and Noa during the birth of my son. I’ll spare the details of my long and complicated labor, but what I will say is that the next day, my husband and I looked at each other and said, “there is no way we could have gotten through all that without them!”

working with Noa as my birth doula was one of the best decisions I made throughout my pregnancy and birth journey. She is truly an expert in all things pregnancy and birth, and it’s clear she stays deeply informed on the latest evidence—something that gave me so much trust and confidence in every decision we made together. what sets Noa apart is how she shows up as a listener. she has this incredible ability to help you tune into your own intuition and build confidence in your body. I didn’t just feel “supported”—I felt seen, heard, and genuinely empowered throughout the entire birth prep process. she created such a safe, grounding space for me during my last trimester, the final days of pregnancy, my birth, and even postpartum. because of her, those experiences felt not only manageable, but deeply positive and empowering. I look back on my birth with so much fondness, which is something I don’t take for granted—and I truly believe that’s because of Noa’s calm, steady, and reassuring presence. she also has a unique gift for working with everyone involved. whether it was my partner, hospital staff, or even my mom, she made sure everyone felt included, aligned, and communicating well. that level of cohesion made such a difference in the overall experience. simply put, I would never give birth again without Noa. Alex was our birth doula, but they both supported us immensely throughout pregnancy and helped us feel truly prepared for childbirth. their knowledge, resources, and guidance—especially when it came to navigating decisions and creating our birth plan—were invaluable. having Alex with us during labor gave us real peace of mind and confidence that our preferences would be honored. her calm, warm presence was incredibly grounding and supportive. her expertise allowed both my husband and I to be fully present throughout and after to delivery to enjoy those special moments with our newborn. as second-time parents, we didn’t have a doula for our first birth, and the difference was significant. having their support throughout pregnancy and during the birth of our second daughter made the entire experience feel more informed and supported. we cannot recommend these two human beings enough if you are looking for an uplifting and positive birth experience! – s & b
i can’t imagine having gone through labor and birth without Alex beside me. she brought a profound sense of comfort, safety, skill, and knowledge to the most raw and vulnerable experience of my life — and no amount of thanks will ever feel like enough. my boyfriend is an incredible support and advocate for me, and even so, we both knew we didn’t want to do this without Alex. from our preparation together beforehand to the moment my baby arrived and beyond, she showed up with a steadiness and warmth that I leaned on more than I ever expected. having her by my side in the hospital — helping advocate for me and my baby so that I was able to stay fully present in my birthing mind and body — gave me a confidence I couldn’t have found on my own. Alex anticipated what I needed before I could ask, made sure my wishes were heard, and never once let me feel alone even in the hardest moments. that kind of care is rare, and I felt it deeply. She lifted an enormous weight from my shoulders on the most important day of my family’s life, and the peace I felt walking into the experience was because of her. Alex will be the first person I call whenever we find out I’m pregnant with future babies — I wouldn’t have it any other way. – r & z
Noa was the reason I was able to accomplish my goal of having an unmedicated birth! she provided my partner and me with a private class that covered all the education and techniques we needed to get through the unmedicated birth process. when I went into labor, we were able to easily utilize all the tools Noa taught us to get through. beyond this, she connected me with another mom who was able to share her experience and other resources with me, which was invaluable. Noa is truly passionate about empowering women and she has had such a huge impact on our family! any mom who has Noa as part of her journey is incredibly lucky. I’m so grateful for her! n & t
i feel so blessed to have found Alex to be my doula for my first birth! from the moment we spoke on the phone, I loved her perspective on birth and knew I needed someone with that kind of attitude to support me, along with someone who shared my faith. she was so helpful throughout my pregnancy, being available for questions and checking in on me and helped me develop my birth plan by giving me resources and information to help me make my own decisions. I went past my due date by 10 days, and actually got a massage from her that I think really helped get my labor started. I labored at home until I couldn’t get through the contractions on my own and Alex was there as soon as I needed her. the second she walked through the door she immediately was helping me get through my contractions with hip squeezes and calming support talking me through them. she used the massage table to help me with baby’s position and to keep labor moving. my husband was able to rest and take a nap while she stayed with me helping me find my breath and stay relaxed. once she helped make the call that it was time to go to the birth center she met us there and continued to help me in so many ways. Alex has so much knowledge and made me feel comfortable the whole time. her encouraging words, prayers, coping mechanisms and presence alone really got me through labor. she made sure my environment matched my birth plan and never strayed from it. I had an exhausting 36 hour labor, towards the end when I was tired she made sure I stayed fueled to finish strong. she read me my affirmations with conviction. she helped me surrender and make sure there was no fear I was holding onto. I am so thankful to have had her and my husband supporting me all the way until I held my baby girl in my arms. even after our daughter was born she stayed with me and helped me get the hang of breast feeding. I don’t think I could ever use another Doula because Alex set the bar so high and did such an amazing job. I highly recommend Alex to anyone looking for someone to support them in their birth because she will go above and beyond to be there for you. – n & m
Alex assisted my husband and I with our first birth. she was so helpful and supportive not only during labor but during the days before and after. her calm and confident presence gave myself and my partner the confidence both mentally and physically to successfully bring our daughter earth side. doulas are invaluable as they not only support the mom but the partner as well. we highly recommend Alex! – c & c
I am a first time mom and I really wanted to make my pregnancy and birth a beautiful experience. I always wanted to have a doula and this is how Noa and I became a team during my pregnancy and birth. I am so grateful I found her and had her by my side during this whole journey. she was beyond incredible in every way. it really made me understand the importance of having someone like her on your team. she was extremely knowledgeable about everything and was able to make me feel ready and excited to give birth. she really took time to make me feel comfortable and answer any questions I had. I felt like we really built a connection together and she took time to show how important all of this was to her and that it was not just a transaction. noa cared about my family and that is truly what made this experience so amazing. I could not be more grateful to have had her by my side. my birth was beautiful and I love sharing my story. Noa was a huge part of it and I am blessed we had her there. Having Alex as a doula helped me feel empowered to trust my body and provide feedback to my medical team at the hospital. after being redirected to a hospital I didn’t know the doctors, I was relieved that Alex was there as not only a familiar face on my delivery team, but as an advocate for my health. she allowed me to feel like I was safe and in control, despite the situations that arose during the course of my labor. – a & j

although Noa was my backup doula, I remember our first interaction at a prenatal appointment and feeling reassured that I was in good hands, literally. I am not a touchy feely person, but when Noa played with my hair, it was so nurturing that I immediately felt safe and looked after. when I was in labor, she gave me extra fuel to fight for my preferences, while also being extremely respectful of the healthcare staff. Noa was an incredible doula, so kind, caring and knowledgeable!
